Rene’s new CD, “Rockin’ On The Front Porch” is now available for purchase through Rene’ or through the website. Song samples will be available soon.
We will soon be featuring the story that inspired the song “A Damaged Diamond”, the bonus cut on the new CD.
On Sunday, June 8, Rene’ and Edie had the pleasure of performing at the famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville for Sunday Mornin’ Country during the CMA Music Festival (Fan Fair). They were part of the Country Chorale, the choir which backed Linda Davis, Billy Dean, Aaron and Thea Tippin, Ricky Skaggs and The Whites, Margo Smith/Holly Watson, and other artists.
Rene’ was requested by LifeWay Christian Resources to sing the #1 hit song “Touch Of The Master’s Hand” as a special treat and surprise for the writer, John Kramp, who was coming to speak at the Chapel Service at LifeWay.
Two of Rene’s songs have made the Top 10 on the Christian Country and Country Gospel charts:
- Doin’ It By The Book #2
- I Know Him By Heart #6
- His song “I Know A Man Who Can” is currently at #15.

Rene’ has been receiving
cards and letters about his CD. Some of the comments are:
a.)
“I just had to tell you
that your music is so heartfelt. I have not stopped
listening to the CD since I got it. Your music makes me
feel like I will be okay no matter what goes on in this
world.”

so warm in my heart. You have a beautiful voice, and I can
tell you sing from the heart!”

“My day started off awful
first thing this morning, and all I could do was cry. I
didn’t even want to go to work today. I got in the car,
put in your CD; and by the time I got to work, I had quit
crying. I don’t know what it is, but you have a voice like
no other to sing those songs. I’m glad I have it to listen
to because it helps me get through the days.”
d.)
“Rene’, you need to be
working on another CD—I’m about to wear this one out! It
gets played at least once every single day. You have one
incredible voice.”
e.)
“That is the most
beautiful version to “Sweet Hour of Prayer” that I have
ever heard.”
f.)
“The entire CD is awesome!
and you have a truly incredible voice. I love every single
song on the CD, but “Down On My Knees” is the bomb!!!”

wrote, “You have honored me with a wonderful rendition of
my song, and I am very excited at the energy you put into
the recording. It made me proud.”
